Plywood

    • More expensive than MR Grade
  3. BWP (Boiling Water Proof) Grade
    • Better Water resistant than BWR and Termite proof
    • Little more expensive than BWR

Plywood comes in different thickness

  • 3-Ply – 2 mm to 3 mm. Used interiors.
  • 5-Ply – 4 mm thickness
  • Multi-ply – 7 or more plies.

Veneer

Veneer sheets are slices or sheets craved out of wood – usually thinner than 3 mm. Each Venner is unique in its own sense. It can be used instead of Lamination for more wooden style finish and better looking finish. It is comparatively costlier to Lamination and also need maintenance. Used in doors, ceiling design, TV units, cupboard

Wood Work

This is wood from Teak or Burma border or Honne. Can to be used to build strong and sturdy structures such as bed and dining tables. This will be costlier than plywood

Laminate

These are hard sheets made of synthetic materials (paper+resin) which are used to cover plywood as a finishing and protective layer. Comes in a thousand of designs and price range is also wide – comes in variety of designs – shiny, matte, glossy reflective, mirror type.

Acrylic sheets

Made from plastic resins and are highly reflective & glossy surface. They do not fade. These are suitable for places which are in humid environment such as Kitchen or bathroom. Being water resistant, it is easier to remove spills and food marks. Laminates are relatively more durable than acrylic. Costlier than laminate.
